ROLE OVERVIEW:

The opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, driven, and creative Social Media Manager to join the Performance54 team, managing the creation, management, and delivery of clients’ Social Media channels, including promotions, advertising, communications, sponsorship, and events activity through key social channels.

The desired candidate will be based out of the Performance54 office in Singapore and will speak fluent English, however, Performance54 will be managing events and clients globally, and the candidate will be required to spend extended periods of time on the ground at these events.

A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of social media & digital trends, advertising, marketing and the wider sports industry is required, and the preferred candidate will hold a minimum of 3 years of dedicated social media marketing experience. Strong written and verbal skills are essential, as well as the ability to create and deliver exciting and innovative digital campaigns focusing on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.

The role is tailored to help P54 deliver against its client’s objectives of raising awareness, growing reach/following/engagement and, ultimately, delivering outstanding ROI.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role requires a dynamic skill set, and the ability to work to specific timeframes to deliver:

  • Management of social media channels and campaigns for various events, clients and partners:
  • Strategy development and ideation in keeping with brand identity and guidelines
  • Development of standout content and social storytelling
  • Posting calendar creation and scheduling
  • Post creation and distribution
  • TikTok Specialist
  • Supporting on social media advertising and paid digital budget
  • Ongoing data analysis and reporting
  • Liaison with colleagues within creative studio in regard to asset development
  • Creating briefs for videographers/photographers
  • Regular integration of new technology and concepts into channel management practices
  • Communicate regularly across internal teams and with senior management

REQUIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Have a good knowledge of sports culture, brands and events, with an interest in Golf and sport (Football/Soccer) highly desirable
  • Excellent understanding of and experience in copywriting for social media, with a high premium on excellent Mandarin and English language skills
  • Unwavering attention to detail
  • Strong sense of personal accountability, ensuring that standards for own delivery always remain high

  • Takes a proactive and outcome-based approach to problem solving
  • Happy to work unsociable hours and often at weekends
  • Direct line management responsibility for a Social Media Executive
