POSITION: Senior Account Executive

LOCATION: Camberley, UK (with some international travel)

The opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, driven and creative Senior Account Executive to join the Performance54 team, assisting with the creation, management and delivery of key destination and brand clients’ media, promotions, PR, communications, marketing, sponsorship and events activity. The desired candidate will be based out of the Performance54 office in Camberley, with some international travel required.

A passion for the game of golf and travel is required, and an understanding and interest in golf media outlets and the general golf and destination marketing landscape is desirable. The candidate must also enjoy developing creative ideas and promotional campaigns, and be comfortable working on multiple projects and to tight deadlines.



  • Sales & Marketing Planning
    • Support Account Manager and Account Director on development of client strategy
      • Research and analysis
      • Ideation
    • Sales & Marketing Implementation – managing initiatives including (but not limited to);
      • PR & Communications
        • Create and update planning documents
        • Create client reports
        • Conduct regular media research and analysis
        • Read, and develop an understanding of, all key websites and magazines (consumer and trade) daily
        • Write first draft of press releases (w/ support of Account Manager)
      • Social Media management
        • Create and update social media planning documents
        • Oversee social media analytics
        • Follow and monitor (daily) all key golf social channels
      • FAM Trips
        • Liaise with key stakeholders and support Account Manager on logistics – accommodation, travel requirements, itinerary etc.
      • Content Development (in conjunction with production partners)
        • Support Account Manager and Production Team on ideation
      • Client Liaison / Account Management
        • Update work in progress (WIP) documents
        • Take all meeting notes and provide regular updates to Client
      • Partner Management
        • Support Account Manager with media and partners relations – be efficient at providing information to clients
        • Understand intricacies of each partner – communication channels, primary functions, audience profiling, tone of voice etc.
      • Research & Analysis
        • Provide account team with strategic insight – industry standards, new technologies, case studies etc.
      • Team Liaison
        • Communicate regularly with account team and senior management – client updates, developments etc.
          • Important given P54’s international remit (and overseas offices)
        • Liaise regularly with other account teams and departments to ensure business alignment
      • New Business Pitching
        • Support the creation of new business pitches and decks
      • New Business
        • Provide intel (e.g. industry knowledge) around prospective new clients for P54


– Competitive plus bonus

– 25 days annual leave (+Public Holidays), Pro-Rata

– Normal office hours (9am – 5.30pm), with travel and additional hours as required
