The opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, driven and creative Digital Marketing Manager to join the Performance54 team, assisting with the creation, management and delivery of a key clients’ digital marketing activity. The desired candidate will be based out of the either the Performance 54’s UK or Saudi Arabia Offices.

The role will suit an individual with at least 5 years of marketing experience working for a brand, rights holder, governing body or resort / destination, within the golf industry. The role will favour individuals with a background in Social Media marketing, content generation, and website management.

A passion for the game of golf and travel is required, and an understanding and interest in golf media outlets and the general golf landscape is desirable. The candidate must also enjoy developing creative ideas and promotional campaigns and be comfortable working on multiple projects and to tight deadlines.



The role requires a dynamic skill set, and the ability to work across the full marketing mix within the golf industry to deliver:

  • Management and analysis of day-to-day golf digital marketing campaigns;
  • Google Advertising – Ads, YouTube, InMail, Display and APP (managed by Advertising Manager)
  • Social Media organic and paid
  • Localised tactics (traditional and digital)
  • Website audits and weekly enhancements
  • Copywriting and written content
  • Analysis and reporting
    • Digital marketing strategy development
      • Improve and deliver digital strategy based on overall marketing strategy
    • Content creation and management, including video and imagery
      • Management of suppliers and agencies
      • Budget control and analysis
      • Briefing and scripting
    • Website management and maintenance
      • Management of multiple websites promoting different products
      • SEO enhancements
      • RFP and tender project management
      • Agency and supplier liaison
      • Product launches and new development
    • Social media and digital marketing campaigns, organic and paid
      • Manage Arabic agency with Social Media Exec
      • Approve monthly plans
      • Liaise and manage paid campaigns with Advertising Manager
    • New product development
      • RFP and Tender management
      • To include: Applications, booking portals, social media bots
    • CRM Management
      • Oversight of email and SMS marketing
    • Creation of regular client reports on campaign performance
    • Oversight of client budgets



  • Golf and sporting knowledge
  • Management of CMS (ideally Umbraco and WordPress)
  • Understanding of modern website technology; DNS management, hosting, SLA’s, basic SEO
  • Social Media platform management
  • Management of multiple agencies and suppliers
  • Understanding of modern technology
