We are looking for someone to be pivotal in the organisational planning of a busy creative department assisting the Design Manager daily with various administrative and creative tasks. No two days will be the same from proof reading briefs, print checking materials prior to production, researching latest design styles, sourcing imagery, allocating job numbers, updating spreadsheets, and generally keeping the design wheels turning.

The design studio is very fast paced so the ability to confidently multitask and juggle priorities is a must, along with a can-do attitude. Training will be given either internally or externally on production requirements such as print & digital final designs to the right candidate.

The desired candidate will be based from the Performance54 offices in Camberley and remotely, although some travel may be required.


The role requires a varied skill-set in order to provide support to the Design Manager to ensure smooth running of the team and projects.

Leadership & Coordination
• Support the running of the P54 design team
• Assist the Design Manager to help lead and co-ordinate projects and campaigns from initial stages through to delivery
• Coordinate with account managers to communicate updates
• Oversee project resources and assist with the management of freelance requirements and bookings
• Monitor and improve current practices where required
• Build effective relationships with key stakeholders and internal departments
• Assist In prioritisation of projects with Design Manager and Marketing Leadership based on impact, company objectives and resources
• Support in planning resource needs, and coordinate resources across multiple projects
• Assist in managing creative projects to ensure successful delivery of various product launches

Administration & Reporting
• Research and develop a thorough understanding of each customers’ creative guidelines
• Regularly perform creative quality assurance to ensure maximum potential performance
• Scope and support in the rollout of efficiency-saving initiatives to help improve overall creative team and cross-team collaboration
• Ensure each stage of the projects are met according to the stakeholder, creative brief, resource and deadline deliverables
• Manage and track all creative deadlines across the team via internal systems
• Proactively identify problems for marketing and/or advertising creative plans
• Support the team to ensure things are met on time and administration tasks are complete
• Provide regular updates and reports for the Design Manager


• Experience working within a marketing or design agency advantageous
• Cross-functional collaboration experience
• Experience supporting marketing projects, including the creative development and alignment with strategy
• Experience in setting priorities, problem- solving and multitasking
• Must excel in the following:
o Microsoft 365 PowerPoint, word, Excel
o Google Sheets
o Written English / Proof Reading capability
o Confident in email communication
o Adobe Creative Cloud (good knowledge of required)
• Abilities in the following would be an advantage, however training will be given:
o Production knowledge for print and digital media
o Marketing process


• Office hours (Monday – Friday, 09:00-17:30, additional hours as required)
• Reports to Design Manager
• Salary: £18k-£23.5k depending on experience
