ROLE OVERVIEW:

54 is currently in the process of undergoing a major IT transformation and requires an experienced individual to facilitate the process from inception to completion. The successful applicant will need to work with c-suite executives, department heads, external consultants, and software providers to ensure the IT solution(s) meet the current and future needs of the company.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with internal stakeholders to shape a digital development roadmap, advising and directly supporting its implementation to ensure we’re continually meeting the needs of users e.g. staff, suppliers, customers, etc.
  • Internal lead on the delivery of a new digital strategy and architecture plan.
  • Manage end-to-end digital deliverables from initial shaping through discovery, design and development delivery to business-as-usual.
  • Liaise with external IT consultants as required.
  • Lead on the implementation of the digital solution across the business.
  • Work with senior leadership to plan for the necessary changes required for company growth and advise on best business solutions.
  • Assist with the creation of an in-house BAU support team.
  • Ensure adequate user awareness on changes to systems, infrastructures, and products.
  • Ensure adequate tracking and monitoring of change items.
  • Create and assist in the delivery of change management training programmes to ensure smooth transition to new system.
  • Develop quality control system to monitor effectiveness of new digital solution across all departments.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience of IT change management in a progressive business.
  • Comprehensive understanding of digital user journeys with the ability to develop digital architecture plans.
  • Experienced business analyst.
  • Strong analytical thinker able to simplify complex problems into component parts.
  • Effective decision-making skills, adept at asking the right questions, actioning decisions, resolving issues and escalating where required.
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible to manage multiple projects in fast-paced, deadline driven business.
  • Excellent understanding of in-market solutions across all areas of the business. Including but not limited to: Finance, Legal, HR, Commercial, Marketing, Events, Business Insights.
  • Experience of managing long term, iterative improvement programmes of work with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly disciplined, organised and efficient with proven ability to manage delivery to tight deadlines.
  • A knowledge and understanding of GDPR and Data Protection and its application.
