Performance54 are looking for an experienced Golf Advisory Director (GAD) to lead the MENA golf advisory function Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the GAD will play a pivotal role in shaping our advisory strategy and operations, as well as driving new business opportunities in the region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing advisory and consultancy services, managing data and analytics and be able to solicit and secure new business development opportunities.

Knowledge of the global golf advisory market, as well as a deep network of contacts across the golf industry is essential, as well as having strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and grow a regional team. This role will also act as a part of the international golf advisory leadership team to foster a positive, inspiring, and collaborative work environment that empowers employees to actively work toward companywide goals.


Advisory and Consultancy Services:

  • Develop Feasibility & Strategic Plans, that may include, but not limited to:
    • Project Conceptualization
    • Designs and Development
    • Pre-Opening Planning
    • Business Planning
    • Project Conceptualization
    • Designs and Development
    • Pre- Opening Planning
    • Business Planning
  • Analyse and Develop Financial plans, Budgets and P&L statements.
  • Develop Sales and Marketing plans and strategies.
  • Develop and analyse Club Operations strategies.
  • Develop and create Client reports.

Data and Insights:

  • Development of Benchmarking and Market Research reports
  • Develop Commercial Strategies

Business Development 

  • Identifies and develops new business opportunities.
  • Manages and builds relationships with key clients and builds new ones.
  • Expands the profile and reach of the company, its overall services, and its brands.
  • Customer-service, and client relationship management.
  • Develops and strengthens internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share.
  • Builds cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth.
  • Tracks emerging markets and trends.
  • Fosters and works to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions.
  • Identifies and recommends new services.
  • Proposes and develops strategic partnerships.
  • Manages third party Business Development consultants.
  • Attends trade related events, trade shows, seminars, conferences.
  • Helps to shape the company’s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them.
  • Researches and identifies new markets.
  • Identifies sponsorship opportunities to both Performace54 and Clients.
  • Fulfils requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential partners and customers.


  • Extensive golf experience, working with developers, real estate funds, federations, governing bodies, golf management companies, management consultants.
  • Significant track record of achievement in leading advisory growth strategies and expanding revenue streams.
  • Experienced in client management.
  • A strong track record in delivering against demanding targets with proven success in delivering growth.
  • Experience working and implementing financial modelling tools.
  • Proven success as a senior executive managing departmental teams / with a minimum ten years’ experience in a Leadership level role.
  • Authoritative, effective, successful, robust and resilient.
  • Politically astute with a high level of integrity and a style that builds trust amongst internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to establish a strategic vision and lead organisational management to achieve success.
  • Experience working across multiple global territories is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of financial, technical, and economic concepts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Consulting / Advisory, Commercial, Events, and Sports Industries
  • MENA experience essential, Saudi Arabia experience preferred


  • 50,000 SAR Per Month
  • Annual Discretionary Company Bonus – up to 8% – 3% Company & 5% Individual
