Specialising in sponsorship strategy and activation, tournament promotion and management, PR and communications, and destination marketing, the Performance54 team is trusted by some of the world’s best-known brands.


The opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, driven and creative Account/Marketing Manager to join the Performance54 team, assisting with the creation, management and delivery of key destination clients’ media, promotions, PR, communications, marketing, sponsorship and events activity. The desired candidate will be based out of the Performance54 office in Riyadh, with some international travel required.

The candidate must enjoy developing creative ideas and promotional campaigns and be comfortable working on multiple projects and to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be given a comprehensive induction into the game of golf therefore previous experience within golf is not required. Experience within the sports industry is highly desirable but not essential.


The role requires a varied skill-set, and the ability to work across a diverse client portfolio, to assist Performance54 service its clients’ needs:

Sales & Marketing Planning

  • Develop annual (and ad hoc project-based) marketing strategy for clients (across destination, brand and event marketing)
  • Provide client insight on best-practice

Sales & Marketing Implementation – managing initiatives including (but not limited to);

PR & Communications

  • Develop planning documents
    Liaise regularly with media and partners
    –   Conceptualise creative solutions to deliver media coverage in relevant international markets
  • Social Media management

–   Oversee development and delivery of social media plans, with the support of Account  Executive

  • FAM Trips

–   Full-service delivery from planning, to hosting, to securing media coverage

  • Event Activation Management

–   Provide a comprehensive cross-channel marketing solution to ensure clients benefit fully from hosting of professional tour and owned event properties

  • Content Development (in conjunction with production partners)

–   Work with production team to conceptualise unique content ideas

  • Understand how other marketing functions, e.g. advertising, work together to deliver best-in-class results

Client Liaison / Account Management

  • Manage work in progress (WIP) documents and oversee delivery of regular client reports
  • Be personable with client and be efficient at providing regular client updates, organising and hosting regular conference calls, and face-to-face meetings

Partner Management

  • Have strong relations and regular dialogue with media and partners to develop solutions in-line with client objectives
  • Understand the intricacies of each partner and how solutions will be bespoke for each

Research & Analysis

  • Work strategically and utilise primary data to inspire creativity

Team Liaison

  • Excellent communication and team player

–   Important given Performance54’s international remit (and overseas offices)
–   Liaise regularly with other departments to ensure alignment

New Business Pitching

  • Support the creation of new business pitches and decks

New Business

  • Provide intel (e.g. industry knowledge) around prospective new clients for Performance54


  • Concise updates to Performance54 senior management and Performance54 clients
