At the start of the year we helped Titleist launch the most important and notable product in the game, New Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x. For nearly 20 years, since the franchise began, it has been the #1 ball played on Tour and the #1 selling golf ball amongst consumers. The launch garnered global media attention, and all of the major media outlets in the UK & Ireland covered the most significant launch of the year so far.
Since the launch Titleist has seen unprecedented demand for the #1 ball in golf, whilst continuing its momentum on worldwide Tours. A win at the PGA Championship made it four in a row for Pro V1, and meant eight out of the last nine Major champions have used a Pro V1 golf ball for their success. The victory took Titleist’s win count to 13 on the PGA Tour this season (its nearest competitor has five) and 10 on the European Tour, with Titleist’s current worldwide ball count standing at 10,558, over eight times its nearest competitor.
