The inaugural Aramco Saudi Ladies International presented by Public Investment Fund and the Saudi Ladies Team International were the first female professional golf tournaments to be played in Saudi Arabia and took place at Royal Greens Golf and Country Club in November 2020.
The first of its kind teams event was a three-day tournament consisting of 37 teams of three professionals and one amateur; a never-before-seen format on any major professional tour. An exceptional seven days of golf saw Danish superstar Emily Kristine Pedersen, win all three of the available trophies, beating off a whole host of renowned players such as Georgia Hall and Anne Van Damn.
Performance54 was pivotal to the success of both tournaments: from the detailed and unique marketing delivery to the operations of the events. Working in partnership with the Ladies European Tour, Performance54 delivered first-class service, including design, content creation, guest and player management, sponsorship activation, advertising, PR & Communications and a number of legacy activation.
A particular highlight was the launch and creative development of the Ladies First Club, which offered 1,000 memberships to ladies and girls interested in taking up golf for the first time.
The team are very excited to be working on the second staging of the Saudi Ladies International in 2021.
