One of the longest running events on the European Tour, the OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic is part of the early season Desert Swing, which showcases three golf tournaments host some of world’s best players in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
This year, Performance54 successfully supported the delivery of the 2020 OMEGA Dubai Desert Classic, working cohesively with the tournament organisers – Falcon & Associates – to deliver a PR, content and digital communications campaign during the 31st edition of the tournament.
A key focus for the team was driving event attendance, including communication of the tournament’s new and enhanced leisure and hospitality offering resulting in a 14% increase in overall event tickets YoY.
In addition, Performance54 provided the Falcon & Associates team with support on-site at the event, through event activations and content creation. Working closely with the European Tour, our team on the ground created over 40 videos that were distributed via the tournament’s social media channels throughout the week
