February 2020 witnessed Performance54 develop and manage an all-new global golf business event, the Golf Saudi Summit. Taking place in King Abdullah Economic City, Jeddah, the inaugural event welcomed hundreds of guests, including senior government ministers, key business executives and golf’s most important figures to discuss the game’s rapid growth within the Kingdom.
Hosted by the CEO of the Saudi Golf Federation and Golf Saudi, Majed Al Sorour, the three-day event saw delegates from across the world learn more about the rapid development of the game in the country, in addition to providing a platform for attendees to form and agree key business relations.
Notable attendees included golfing greats Gary Player and Greg Norman; award-winning golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Jnr; and Tim Schantz, CEO of Troon.
