The inaugural Ho Tram Open held from 3-6 December 2015 launched Vietnam onto the global golfing stage. Under the "Where Golf Meets Entertainment" mantra, Vietnam's richest sporting event welcomed some of the best known players in the golf world, including Sergio Garcia, Darren Clarke, Thomas Bjorn, and YE Yang, as well as stars of the Asian Tour. As well as competing for a $1.5million purse, players, sponsors and guests were treated to a week-long event programme which included the Ho Tram Fight Night, Brian McFadden concert, poolside parties and casino evening, securing the Ho Tram Open's place as 'Asia's Grandest Stage'.
